Presented by: WEF
WEF Residuals and Biosolids Conference 2020
- March 31 - April 3
8:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Minneapolis Convention Center
- Minneapolis, MN United States
This conference focuses on Creative Approaches to Managing Biosolids in an Uncertain Future. Changing public acceptance, regulatory constraints, utility sustainability and resiliency goals, and climate change creates uncertainty for the long-term planning, implementation, operation, and maintenance of a successful biosolids and residuals management program.
Technology development provides new tools but can also add to the uncertainty. Strategies that include successful current innovations and best practices, creative approaches to providing flexibility and resiliency, technological advances, and effective and new approaches to product marketing and public communication will all contribute to the long-term success of a biosolids and residuals management program.
The Water Environment Federation in cooperation with the Central States Water Environment Association is now soliciting submissions for abstracts, workshop proposals and session proposals for Residuals and Biosolids 2020. Submissions are due October 2, 2019.
