10:00AM -12:15PM: Green infrastructure is a new generation of storm drainage infrastructure used to mitigate the effects of urbanization and address water quality concerns. As more and more sites incorporate elements of green infrastructure, often times it is up to environmental compliance inspectors to assess their operation.

The first part of the training reviews the design, installation, inspection, and maintenance fundamentals of green infrastructure systems, including pervious pavements, tree wells, and bioretention. The second part consists of a walking tour of the Turner Court parking lot which showcases 14 different stormwater practices. It’s a fabulous opportunity to learn about many different types of stormwater practices all in one place. A green infrastructure bonanza! Training presented by P3S past Chair Alina Constantinescu, PE, from Larry Walker Associates.

12:15PM-1:00PM: ECI Open Forum and Lunch. Our committee is run by P3S professionals for P3S professionals. We strive to foster collaboration and to learn from each other. This is an opportunity to bring your questions and to discuss problems, lessons learned, and “what did you do in that situation?” with your fellow ECIs. Let’s learn from our experiences! Lunch is provided.

1:00PM-2:00PM: P3S Committee Business Meeting and P3S 2020 Annual Conference Update – call in number will be provided.
