Hach: Optimization Removal of Nutrients in Wastewater
Nutrients are one of the top environmental concerns today. This course examines common Biological Nutrient Removal systems and process strategies. Topics include pH, alkalinity and dissolved oxygen, and the importance of nutrient monitoring in the process and laboratory. Various analytical techniques and instrumentation will be discussed through presentations and hands-on activities measuring phosphorous, nitrogen compounds, pH, and alkalinity.
