Effective Utility Management: Your Path to Sustainability

  • September 13, 2017
  • 10:00 am - 11:30 pm

EVENT NOTE: Enjoy this webinar in September, then join fellow utility leaders on December 7th for the EPA Effective Utility Management Workshop in Sacramento. The event is organized by CWEA, WEF and the EPA. Click here for event info and to register

Effective Utility Management (EUM) is a widely recognized water utility management program, developed by sector leaders, based around Ten Key Management Areas of an Effectively Managed Utility and Five Keys to Management Success. EUM is simple, actionable, and affordable – it helps you protect your infrastructure investments and ensure that your workforce is able to address the challenges that they face every day.

This webinar will present an opportunity to hear from some of the industry’s leaders. Tom Sigmund, Executive Director of Green Bay Metropolitan Sewerage District will begin the webinar, followed by Jim Horne, Sustainability Program Manager at EPA, and Rob Greenwood of Ross Strategic.

Join them to learn more about:

  • what EUM is, and why it is important to the sector and your community
  • how to use the EUM Self-Assessment to take a 360-degree look at your current performance and goals for the future, relative to the Ten Attributes
  • how to use your Self-Assessment results to implement EUM at your utility in a stepwise manner, at a pace that works for you and your staff, by implementing effective practices, measuring your progress, and improving along the way.

This is a joint webinar with the United States Environmental Protection Agency.
